Errol Ginsberg , Chairman of the Board and Chief Innovation Officer

Errol leads Ixia Labs and is Ixia’s chief innovation officer, where he focuses on engineering advances aimed at encouraging organic growth in new product areas. He also works closely with the Ixia management team in evaluating new market opportunities and potential acquisitions and performing early due diligence on potential acquisitions.

Errol brings more than 20 years' experience in the communications industry, with broad expertise in the design, development, and successful commercial marketing of technologies for the Internet and distributed networking community.

Errol Ginsberg founded Ixia in 1997, and took it from a startup to a multi-million dollar company that is a recognized leader in network testing. He served as its president from 1997 to 2000, and its president and CEO from 2000 to 2007. From the early days of Ixia's founding, Errol Ginsberg has helped shape the IP communications testing industry. A visionary leader, Errol has overseen many of Ixia's innovations, including multiuser high-density platforms, CPU per-port interface modules, and high-productivity, test-specific applications. His drive and vision helped forge Ixia into its current position as a market leader.

Errol became chairman of the Ixia board of directors in January 2008. Before Ixia, he served as vice president of Engineering at NetVantage, a network equipment manufacturer. From November 1994 to February 1996, he served as an engineering consultant to Netcom Systems, a test equipment manufacturer. Errol holds a BSEE from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa.

Bethany Mayer , President and Chief Executive Officer

Bethany Mayer has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Ixia since September 2014 where she is responsible for driving the vision and operation of the company. Bethany brings over 25 years of technology experience to Ixia and joined the company from HP where she held several key executive roles since 2010 and most recently served as HP's senior vice president and general manager of its Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) business and led the company's NFV initiative. Previously, Bethany was senior vice president and general manager of HP's Networking Business unit, where under her leadership the business unit delivered 12 consecutive quarters of growth. Prior to that, she was vice president, marketing and alliances for HP's Enterprise Servers Storage and Networking Group. Prior to joining HP, Bethany served as senior vice president, worldwide marketing and corporate development at Blue Coat Systems, and has held roles at Cisco Systems, Apple Computer, Lockheed Martin, and smaller technology companies. Bethany holds a BS from Santa Clara University and an MBA from California State University, Monterey Bay. In 2015, Bethany was named by CRN as a Top 25 Disruptor in the technology industry due to her years of leading breakthrough technology developments including Software Defined Networking and Network Function Virtualization.

Laurent Asscher , Director

Mr. Asscher has been a director since October 2008. Since February 2005, he has served as a Director, and from February 2005 until August 2013, he was President and Chief Executive Officer, of Airtek Capital Group, a private equity investment firm based in Brussels, Belgium. From January 2003 until December 2004, he served as General Manager of Tekelec-Airtronic, SA, a private equity investment firm based in Paris, France. He currently serves on the boards of directors of several private and public technology companies.

Jonathan Fram , Director

Mr. Fram has been a director of the Company since July 2005. Since March 2006, Mr. Fram has served as Managing Partner of Maveron III LLC, a venture capital firm. From July 2005 until March 2006, Mr. Fram served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Doll Capital Management, a venture capital firm. Mr. Fram also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Marchex, Inc

Gail Hamilton , Director

Ms. Hamilton has been a director of the Company since July 2005. From March 2000 until January 2005, Ms. Hamilton held various senior officer positions at Symantec Corporation, a provider of information security products, where she most recently served as Executive Vice President and General Manager, Global Services and Support from January 2004 until January 2005. Ms. Hamilton also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Open Text Corporation and Arrow Electronics, Inc.

Ilan Daskal , Director

Mr. Daskal served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Cepheid, a publicly traded molecular diagnostics company headquartered in Sunnyvale, California from April 2015 to August 2015. From October 2008 to January 2015, he served as chief financial officer of International Rectifier, which was a publicly traded power management semiconductor company. From June 2001 to September 2008, Mr. Daskal worked for the North American communications business group at Infineon Technologies AG, a publicly traded semiconductor manufacturer, where he last served as vice president, finance & business administration. Mr. Daskal holds a Bachelor of Business degree in Accounting from Tel Aviv College of Management in Israel and a Master of Science degree in Finance from The City University of New York.
